The state of Quintana Roo is located in southern Mexico and sits directly next to the Caribbean Sea. That’s where our day trips took place during our heavenly week. Everyone was able to choose during the week the activities that they liked. Then at the end of the trip, everyone could come together, share their stories and discover each other's adventures. A great way to experience a trip twice!

What could be better than being lulled by the sea waves aboard a majestic catamaran off Isla Mujeres? Visit a museum of underwater sculptures in Punta Sam, perhaps? Well, we precisely did those two things.
Akumal Beach
The kingdom of turtles
This is not just an expression. It is possible to swim literally alongside giant turtles at Akumal beach as they are very curious. This beach, located in a protected national park, offers the possibility of snorkeling with turtles, but if that's not your style, it's also possible to relax all day on the white sand beach.

We stopped counting the number of times our team met at El Fogon, the perfect restaurant for burrito lovers (there are many of them at Locomotive). It's no coincidence that this was a rallying point for our team: it's the best taco joint in town. So delicious that two of our vegetarians couldn't resist their al pastor burritos.
