Departure

A starry night

In the heart of the night, the trail of Cerro La Silla in El Valle de Antón unfolds with quiet, measured steps, silent and lit by the stars above. Torches pierce the darkness, breath comes in short bursts, and occasionally eyes drift across the vast sky, dotted with thousands of stars.

The summit

Slowly, the world lights up

At the top, everyone settles in. Some sit in silence, others bring out a snack or a blanket. And then it begins: the sky shifts from violet to gold. Everything is revealed: the valley, the mist, the melting shadows. Few words are spoken, just smiles, “wows,” and a shared feeling that the climb was worth it.

The descent

Carried by the morning light

The light changes everything. The same trail as before turns into a postcard-perfect scene. Trees, mountains, giant ferns—every detail rediscovered after the darkness. This time, conversation flows a little more. Laughter, slips, photos. Tired, yet light-hearted.
